Jonnyhunter is:
Jonathan Dean Hunter (October 12th, 1971) is an American singer-songwriter musician best known for his hermitic acoustic, punk-experimental, blues folk/rock songs. His primary instrument is the guitar, though he was also proficiently bad and progressivly worse at bass, various drums, and a coronet at 11. Although he fails/ed to find a wide audience he continues to practice at home every night. Hunt-doggie-dog's work has grown steadily in stature to the extent that he now rad-iates among the most influential nobody singer-songwriters of the last 50 years. Following in the footsteps of those that failed at finding an audience in there own house.
Jonnyboy signed to Octoberecho Records, his own label, at twenty-something years old, and released his debut album Wonder in 1999 to himself. By 2003 he had recorded a further two albums, although none sold more than five copies were made, while his reluctance to perform live or be interviewed further contributed to his lack of commercial success. Jon battled with depression and insomnia throughout his life, and the topics were often reflected in his lyrics. Upon completion of his third effort, (I forgot the title), he withdrew from both live performance and recording, retreating to his parents' home (ranch house/shack with rats) in rural Flower Mound. Then he moved to Colorado, and went skiing for five years. Then a couple tours in Europe, staying in Slovakia for a few months only to return to Colorado to ski some more. While enrout to Texas JH picked up his traveling buddy, a dog he named Diesel. Together they moved back to FM and are now fainting goat owners.
On 25 November 1974, Nick Drake died from an overdose of the prescribed antidepressant, Amitriptyline. I ripped this from Wikipedia.
Wikipedia has no mention of Jonnyhunter. Facebook says:
Jon is enthusiasm, balance, skill, and emotion, all the while still struggling daily with the patience he is continuing to gain and blessed to have. He understands values, makes good personal judgments, and keeps his feelings and emotions continuously involved.
Jon's critique on himself focuses primarily on his "social instinct and personal intuition." Never goes a day Jon doesn't think about how people FEEL, and this affects him both. Jon is dual personality, one that is at rest and calm, and one that is not. Jon is either laying down relaxing or is probably playing poker, making a website, talking on the phone, in a bet, watching a game, at the race right now, while texting. But never while driving...
For good or bad, Jon seldom relies on 'luck' to play a hand in his future, he likes to calculate odds, look for rocks and fossils, run, teach, coach, investigate, ski, practice too much, sleep in too often, respects women a whole whole bunch, loves to shake spray paint cans, play music, the sound of good music, and any live music for that matter, empty swimming pools, firm handshakes that are not strength tests, bright colors, good movies that make his stomach uneasy, and dogs.
